It's an event where employers and training providers showcase their vacancies and where you can get free careers advice and information on training courses. You can attend workshops by the National Careers Service, Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust and the National Apprenticeship Service. There's expert help with filling in application forms, writing CVs and practicing interview skills.

No, you don't need to register, just come along. However if you are claiming Jobseekers Allowance please ask your Jobcentre Plus adviser to book you a guaranteed place as attending the LETS Fair and following up the leads you make counts highly towards your fortnightly job seeking activity.

Dozens of approachable local employers with genuine jobs on offer, many with an immediate start. Friendly people from training organisations to advise you about the qualifications you need for a future career and the courses on offer. Voluntary organisations - because volunteering is a great route into paid employment, it helps the community and looks brilliant on your CV! Plus careers advisers and workshops will motivate and guide you through your job search activity.
Please dress smartly. You will be meeting your potential future employer or training provider, so you'll want to make a good first impression. Some employers will be doing 'on the spot' interviews too, so you need to look smart just in case that happens to you.
Please inform your Jobcentre Plus personal adviser. Attending the LETS Fair is an important part of your JSA job search activity so you will need to explain why you cannot attend. Your benefits could be at risk if you simply fail to turn up without letting the Jobcentre know.
